Successfully completed Second Anfifascist Camp In organization of SUBNOR (Federation of Associations of Veterans of the National Liberation War) and SKOJ, the second four-day antifascist camp has ended.

The president of the city council of the Belgrade SUBNOR, Bora Ercegovac, thanked all who helped organize the camp, and expressed special satisfaction for the great response of the youth who wanted to take part in the work of this years antifascist camp. He particularly welcomed and thanked the ambassador of Venezuela in Serbia, Dia Nader de El Andari and young antifascists from the ranks of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) who took part in the camp.

Aleksandar Djenic, the first Secretary of SKOJ, wished successful work of the camp at its opening and expressed his belief that the antifascist camp is becoming ever more recognizable, but that it is necessary to continue with preserving the antifascist traditions always and at every place, respecting glorious heroic struggle of our partisans and their post-war sacrifice in rebuilding and creating one different and better future.

The main goal of the camp was raising of the antifascist awareness, especially among the youth who are exposed to the universal political, economic, cultural and educational degradation. The youth are being served the false history through the media, institutions, schools, universities, in which the liberators are often called the occupiers and criminals, while on the other side, fascist occupiers, as well as collaborationists, are being rehabilitated, and presented as innocent victims. During the duration of the camp, there have been ten workshops, different cultural and sports activities along with participation of numerous guest lecturers from home and abroad.

Struggle against fascism has never ended, it doesn’t have an alternative. That struggle in our society is getting new meaning and new actuality.
